4 JeM terrorist associates arrested in Tral: Police | KNO

Srinagar, Jan 01 (KNO): Security forces on Wednesday claimed to have arrested four terrorist associates of proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Tral. According to a statement, issued to news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) they have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Naik, Umar Nazir Sheikh, Inayat Firdous Rather, and Salman Nazir Lone--all residents of Tral The statement reads that incriminating material was also recovered from their possession. "They were involved in providing logistics support and transportation of arms & ammunition to the active terrorists of Jaish-e-Mohammad in Tral and Awantipora areas," it reads. It added that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered at police station Tral and further investigation is going on—(KNO)
